LEARN MORE ABOUT OUR TEAM
Kris Broome- President
In 1995, Kristine began working in her father-in-law’s business in New York handling payables and receivables. Upon moving to Florida in 1998, she began to expand her resume to include mechanical contracting sales, sheet metal estimating, and project management.
With a solid 20-year background in the industry, she opened Lead Mechanical Services in 2014. Starting with a letter of intent from her first customer, four employees, and two trucks, she has grown the business to now having more than 40 employees and 20 trucks serving a customer base along the I-75 corridor from Fort Myers south to Naples and Marco Island, and north to Bradenton and Sarasota. Today, Lead Mechanical Services has a full-service department, a maintenance department, and an impressive list of hundreds of public and private sector customers, both commercial and residential.
Kristine and her husband have three children and seven grandchildren. She loves to travel (having lived in Europe for two years), enjoys being outdoors, camping, boating and four wheeling, and is active in her church.

Caleb Broome – Vice President
Caleb Broome is one of the original members of Lead Mechanical Services, getting his start in 2014 by working in the field during summer breaks from college. After gaining hands-on experience, he transitioned into the roles of Estimator and Project Manager, where he developed a deep understanding of both the technical and strategic sides of the business.
In January 2022, Caleb returned to Lead Mechanical Services as the Senior Estimator and Project Manager. His leadership and dedication earned him the role of Vice President in 2024, where he now helps guide the company’s continued growth and success.
Outside of work, Caleb enjoys all things outdoors. He’s an avid hunter and fisherman, a die-hard Florida Gators football fan, and loves spending time camping and traveling with his wife and their three young children.
Ricardo Lopez– Director of Operations
Born in Puerto Rico, Ricardo came to the United States in 2001 in search of opportunity and growth. Over the next nine years, he expanded his skills and knowledge working with various companies across the HVAC and mechanical trades.
In 2017, Ricardo brought his experience and work ethic to Lead Mechanical Services, quickly becoming an integral part of the team. His leadership and dedication earned him the role of Director of Operations in 2024, a position he proudly holds while continuing to serve as Project Manager.
Ricardo’s commitment to excellence is matched by his love for life outside of work. In his spare time, he enjoys vacationing with family, playing softball, and cooking outdoors—bringing the same passion and precision to the grill that he brings to every job site

Bri Stoll – Director of Pre Construction
Bri Stoll joined Lead Mechanical Services in 2021 and has played a key role in the company’s growth ever since. Having held multiple positions across operations and finance, she brings a well-rounded perspective to every project. Now serving as Director of Pre-Construction, Bri leads the charge in securing new jobs and ensuring each one gets off to a strong start. Her versatility, leadership, and unwavering dedication make her an indispensable part of the team.
Outside the office, Bri enjoys spending time with her husband and four daughters, exploring new places, and diving into a good book.
Fred Fischer – Project Manager
Fred Fischer brings over three decades of HVAC experience to the team. Before moving to Florida four years ago from Colorado, Fred owned and operated his own successful heating and air conditioning company for 20 years. He began his career as a foreman and worked his way up to project manager through hard work, dedication, and a hands-on approach to leadership. Known for his positive attitude and reliable work ethic, Fred brings a smile to every job site. Outside of work, you’ll find him tackling DIY projects, learning how to build and fix just about anything, or spending time camping with his family.

Sam Rivera– Project Manager
At Lead Mechanical Services, Sam plays a key role as one of our Project Managers, overseeing day-to-day operations, solving challenges on the fly, and ensuring top-tier results and customer satisfaction in both service and sales. With over 10 years of industry experience, Sam brings a wealth of knowledge and a commitment to quality that sets him apart.
Outside of work, Sam enjoys spending quality time with his wife and kids, often outdoors fishing or camping. He values family, both at home and in the workplace. “I enjoy working at Lead Mechanical Services because of the family atmosphere, and because they hold the same values I do when it comes to quality of work and providing great customer service. We stand by our motto: HVAC Done Right!”
Joe Laukaitis – Sheet Metal Superintendent
Born and raised in Massachusetts, Joe made the sunny move to Florida back in 1993. With over 45 years of hands-on sheet metal experience, he’s the go-to guy for take-offs, keeping his crews stocked with materials, and tackling any curveballs that come his way. When Joe isn’t putting out fires on the job, you’ll likely find him on the golf course or enjoying quality time with his family — his two favorite kinds of “work” outside the shop.

Luis Galarza – Piping Superintendent
Born in Puerto Rico, Luis Galarza split his childhood between the island and Southwest Florida, ultimately planting deep roots in both places. He entered the HVAC trade at just 18 years old and brings an impressive 30 years of industry experience to the Lead Mechanical Services team.
Luis is a true pro when it comes to all things piping—especially chilled water systems. His expertise, precision, and dedication make him an invaluable part of our operations.
When he’s not on the job, Luis leads with the same passion in his personal life. He serves as a leader in his local church, participates in mission trips, and has a heart for ministry. In his downtime, he enjoys playing video games and spending quality time with his wife and three children.
Colin Christoffersen – Service & Controls Manager
Born and raised in Florida, Colin Christoffersen brings both local insight and technical excellence to the Lead Mechanical Services team. A graduate of Florida Academy, Colin has spent the last 8 years expanding his knowledge and sharpening his expertise in the HVAC field.
As our Service Manager, Colin oversees all controls and system startups. His exceptional critical thinking and problem-solving skills make him a go-to resource for complex challenges and a driving force behind successful project execution.
When he’s not leading in the field, you can find Colin out on the water—either fishing or boating, enjoying the Florida lifestyle to the fullest.

Sarah Sluder- Dispatcher & Receptionist
Sarah joined the Mechanical team two years ago and has been an essential part of our operations ever since. As our dispatcher, she’s the friendly voice behind the calls and the first smiling face you see when you walk through our front door. Sarah keeps our service and maintenance techs organized and on track, making sure everything runs smoothly.
Outside of work, Sarah loves relaxing by the pool, exploring the outdoors with her husband, catching reruns of her favorite classic shows, and staying active in her local community. She also finds joy in serving at her church, reflecting her heart for helping others both in and out of the office.

We are very appreciative of all the good work that we have been able to complete with you guys!
We want to keep this up.
